Products and ServicesThis is just a sample of the systems Matel Data Systems have written for various type of businesses over the last 15 years. Consolidators Nett Fare System (Faresbureau) Consolidators have historically had to deal with sheets and sheets of paper detailing their negotiated fares with each airline. Each reservation clerk would have their folder or folders of the fares. Now using Faresbureau each reservation clerk can instantly look up the fares for a routing as required by the customer. The system shows all airlines on one screen and details all rules etc. Export to various online databases e.g. Solarnet, are included. We have now web enabled this system. All external travel agency customers can now find the consolidators fares instantly without the need to make expensive telephone calls. Using the Solarnet booking engine we can now provide our clients with net fares booking using all GDS and we are providing a web based interface for those who do not have a GDS. Clients include : Car Hire Database of Negotiated Rates (Carsbureau) Like Faresbureau this system automates all aspects of record keeping for the company's negotiated car hire rates.Tthe sales agents can then use the database to search for the required routing. All rules and restrictions are shown. We have now produced an internet booking engine for use by wholesalers who want to add Car Hire to their product list. Clients include :SolarNet - Distribution of services to Travel Agents by GDS Transit Management - Business Travel Agent Hotel Negotiated Rates Database (Hotelsbureau) Again like Faresbureau and Carsbureau this system automates the record keeping for a company's negotiated hotel rates. Imagine keeping tabs on 10,000 hotels with 10 different rates at any one time. This system is still being completed. The system is completed and is now being tested with selected agents/customers. Following discussions with our corporate agency customers we are now designing a system to be used by their customers and this will be fully branded to their customers requirements. Retail Travel Agents Booking System Automates the recording of the bookings taken in a retail agency. Full reporting of bookings taken, cash taken, productivity, ABTA reports. Also links into the Back Office system referenced below. Travel Agents Back Office System Complete Accounting system with automatic CRS invoicing, manual invoice creation, BSP reporting, purchase ledger, full nominal audit trail.
